What is QuickNote
QuickNote is a simplistic note-taking extension with tabs for Firefox and Thunderbird.
Install
You can install the latest version of QuickNote from the Mozilla add-ons site.
If you're using something other than Firefox 3.5+ or Thunderbird 3, you can try installing one of the older versions from the Installation page at your own risk.
Features
- QuickNote makes it easy to write down your notes:
- It's easily accessible with the Ctrl+F7 shortcut or using the toolbar button in Firefox and Thunderbird.
- Saves your notes automatically; you won't lose any data.
- You can use drag and drop or the "Send to QuickNote" context menu to easily add the selected text or link along with site's URL and the timestamp to your notes.
- QuickNote is customizable:
- You can customize the look of your notes to make them easily distinguishable.
- You can select the number of notes
- You can get a different set of icons for QuickNote.
- QuickNote can open in a separate window or in a sidebar.
